Ratios in lowest terms

This week we are learning how to take a ratio and put it into lowest terms.



You have your ratio Then you find a number that goes into both

3:9 3


Then didvide both of the numbers by that number Then you have your ratio in lowest terms

9 divided by 3 = 3 1:3
3 divided by 3 = 1
